Chairperson Message

Dawood University of Engineering and Technology will remain a forerunner in the field of Electronic Engineering in Pakistan. It is an honour for me to lead such an eminent department that has worked diligently in developing contemporary facilities, academic curricula, and international linkages while nurturing diverse talents for the nation. The departmental mission statement and Program Educational Objectives truly support the vision of the university. I believe we bear a moral responsibility to address and cope with the future technopreneur needs of the country while producing globally competent engineers and researchers. My team prepares electronic engineers who can apply their innovative solutions for the digital revolution of the world. DUET has made much progress in recent years, we are now far better, more relevant, and equipped because of our diversity and opportunities that is wholesome for our students and community. We practice continuous quality improvement in the department by revising the curriculum periodically in consultation with prominent advisory members from industry and academia, supported with state of art laboratories, updated teaching methodologies, and excellent facilities for co-curricular and extra-curricular activities coupled with interactive learning and personality development environment. The department promotes high-level morals, dignity, and ethical practice in the profession by taking quantifiable measures. I welcome you to the Department of Electronic Engineering, DUET, and have faith that together being engineers we can shape the future, lead the nation’s progress, and contribute to serving humanity in any capacity.
